Some dude posted a picture of a BMW....on OPPO of all places! can you believe it? Anyways, it was the E60. Personally, I liked the design when it first came out. I think alot of people were skeptical of BMW, especially after that putrid, fritz, monstrosity they called the 7 series oozed into our streets. They say the 5 has a Bangle derriere, but I don’t really see it. The opinions of it seemed to have changed over the past few years and have fallen into the good graces of the public. What other cars were shunned when they first came out, but are now appreciated for their style?

This was the first one that came to mind. called a beached whale by fools, this fleet car had a polarizing design. Even though it was the exact same car as the last one, the edges were rounded and it scared people in the 90s. Now these big bodied GM’s are revered by all and harken back to a simpler time when Vanilla Ice was number 1 and parachute pants were the epitome of style. What other cars out there have aged like a fine wine?

The NB2 Miata from ‘01 to ‘05 seems to have aged pretty well in my book. The design language is appealing without it being too dramatic; there’s a balance between the amount of curves and straight edges that you could probably sell this car new in the later 2000s (assuming none were made before then) and it would fit right in. The addition of projectors along with clear turn signals helps it look younger over the ‘99 to ‘00 NB1.

So many people hate on the 3rd gen Camaros, but I love them even more now than I did as a kid.

I like the element, especially with all the body panels painted.

me too even with them left bare. I think people finally realized the practicality of the car. Too bad it was after they discontinued it and now we only have the fit (just a tad too small) and the HRV which is okay but I’d rather have a flex or a juke

My only diappointment with the element was the relatively bad fuel mileage, even for the 2wd model. I absolutely loved the practicality of the rubber floor, water resistant seats, the awesome fold up rear seats and resulting cavernous rear storage area, the built-in trunk picnic table, and the available removable moonroof in the rear.
